    For the most part they come from apps you use and download. Are you seeing these on a new device or one you have been using for a while ? Here is a guide on how to remove them. https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-remove-root-certificates-from-iphone/

    There are many different certificate authorities (CA); a 'root' certificate identifies each one. You'd need to ensure that an appropriate root certificate was installed before an app made a certificate available to your phone if they weren't pre-installed.

    If you somehow know that you won't need to identify a particular CA, you can delete that CA's root certificate.
