I will buy two Dayton Puck 16 ohms and the suggested AMP to go with it. I want to install these in such a way that the audio will still play out of my set of headphones, but the tactile transducers will still rumble at appropriate moments. Is there a way to accomplish this?

According to a Amazon review

First these need to be fed with only the subwoofer signal
Second, if they are driven too hard (loud) they make a TERRIBLE sound. They need a separate level (volume) control to keep them in the “feel” range and not the louder “feel and hear” range.

So I don’t think they will work with headphones. As for the amp in the link, that looks like an amp for a car stereo.

What is your intended use for this set up ?

The intended use is to attach the two Dayton Pucks to my chair, so that if i am watching a movie or playing a video game I would be able to "feel" whats happening, like if there is an explosion or an engine start-up, the seat would vibrate accordingly. I have absolutely no finesse in working with any of this, so I just bought the AMP that people in the amazon reviews said. Should I cancel the order and get a different one? My setup will objectively not be for the car.

Also, to clarify, what exactly do you mean by feeding it with only the subwoofer signal? I have no idea what that is.

For a lot of soundcards, they have a separate jack for a subwoofer connection. What brand and model sound card is in your computer?

Also if you are going to hook these up to your chair you will need enough slack in the wires so if you move in your chair you don't rip out the connections or trip over them.

For what you are looking to spend I'd check this out
