Is it possible to randomly select rows in a SQL Server database?

I've been using SQL Server 2005 and in my database, I have a table labeled "customerNames" which has two different columns (ID and name). It has around 1,000 results. I've been trying to create a function that allows me the capability to select five different customers randomly every time. Would anyone know how to create a query for this?
