Is it to late to become software tested at 39? I am a mathematician and I want to switch career to software testing. I have a good knowledge of Java.

It’s never to late to try new things. I switched over to a .NET programmer at the age of 50 after spending 30+ years as an RPG/ILE developer.. SO if you have the desire, go for it.

    No, this is not too late. Why did you think like that? Yes, you can switch over your career, but you did not mention, currently on which area you are working. Just mention Mathematician, that does not mean you are working on research project. However, you can consult with a good educational institute for more information.

    As you mentioned, you can quickly cope up this technic, while a fair knowledge of computer is much helpful. As you are a mathematician, hopefully you have good knowledge on Logic, which is more helpful for this course. But always go for global based course, which can be recognized and be accepted almost all. You can navigate Cisco official web site and try for the same.
