Here are some more information about my question:

I'm trying to test our DR plan but I have some issues.

We have a test partition running V6R1M1 on a Power 550 managed by HMC.

I've made a full system backup using option 21 from BRMS on a TS3100 LTO6 drive. The backup was succesfull.

Then, I'm trying to IPL on this tape to be able to test a Full System Restore.

On HMC, I've selected my  fc 5735 ccin 577d as the alternate restart:

    Tagged I/O
Load source: U0595.001.651544A-CB1-C08 / RAID Controller
Alternate restart: U78A0.001.DNWHC09-P1-C3 / 8 Gigabit PCI Express Dual Port Fibre Channel Adapter

The SAVSYS tape is mounted in the drive and the drive is connected directly to the AS/400.

When I start the LPAR in IPL-D manual mode, the boot stopped with error B2004158: Unable to find the load source.

I made a DSPTAP of my tape and here is the first sequence:

    Data file label  . . . . . . . . . :   QFILEUPR
    File sequence  . . . . . . . . . . :   0000000001

    Data file label  . . . . . . . . . :   QFILEIOC
    File sequence  . . . . . . . . . . :   0000000002

    Data file label  . . . . . . . . . :   QFILE
    File sequence  . . . . . . . . . . :   0000000003

    ...

Do you think it's a problem with the backup ?

Or any other idea of the problem ?

Thanks for your support and Happy Holidays to all of you.
