If you're sure you have your iPhone settings configured correctly for your Exchange account - then the only answer for true synchronization is for your Exchange administrator to properly set up their end. They may not wish to have ActiveSync for whatever reasons - or then again, they may get you set up if you just put in a request.
If not, there are workarounds such as forwarding your work mail to a Google Gmail account and then syncing with that and using a work "reply to" email address. Personally, I don't wish to use that type of solution but maybe that's fine with you. I can fetch my corporate mail on my iPhone but I can't reply from my corporate account from my iPhone. Such is the cruel fate for many an iPhone user with no Exchange support. Apple did their part but you still need Exchange support.
I hope someone else will respond with a viable option that works from the end-user perspective. Good luck.
I should also mention that besides the fact that my phone will only fetch mail, contacts & calender that every couple of weeks it will all of a suden not connect to the server & the only way I can correct that is to delete the exchange account & re-enter it then it works again but for a couple of weeks PUSH never works
