Hi there, we have let out our shutter next to our home to a ISP ( ireach) to set up a server for the colony, they  told us that they will be using over head fiber to get the connection in place but I doubt if they are using a wireless...my concern is that it may cause health issues. How to cross check this?

There are sites that explain the dangers of fiber optic cables but most are for the installation process. Hazards  of fiber optic. or check out this one. For concerns on  electromagnetic emissions that could affect people, fiber optic cables are a true exception, as a fiber optic cable doesn’t emit any electromagnetic radiation from the cable itself, no matter how high the frequency of transmission is.

The exact position does not reveal here of setting up the internet sever. Have you asked the provider for the same issue? What they told? Is there other place like rooftop or something like that ?

Moreover you can consult with a consultant for physical/ health issues. Also it depends on quality of cable that is used for this job.

There are no known (nor really even suspected) health concerns about transmissions over optical fiber. I don't recall seeing sites that discussed this (since there isn't much to discuss).
