I have Catalyst 2960 which having two VLANs 10 and 15 for voice and data respectively. And a VLAN interface for VLAN one which I use for telnet. I have CME ROUTER 2901 in the network which providing the DHCP for all the VLANs through its subinterfaces as it has to provide different range of DHCP pool through a single physical interface. The switch has the configuration, IP default gateway to the CME Router. Till now, there is no internet connectivity in the devices. But the management wants to bring the internet connectivity to the switch and would like to get internet through the port of IP Phone. The DHCP range I have given for the data, VLAN is different from my home gateway connection. As I already have an IP default gateway command in the switch, which steps should I take in the switch to give a path to homegateway? Which is better: Is to change the LAN IP range of home gateway or subinterface IP and the DHCP pool for DATA that T have configured already in the 2901 router? Which would work fine?
