Using Internet Explorer Maintenance (IEM), you can customize the text that appears in the title bar of Internet Explorer.
The Browser Title setting is available in non-Preference Mode only. It is not available in Preference Mode. You must be a member of the Administrators group to work with IEM and Group Policy objects (GPOs).
To customize the Internet Explorer title bar text using IEM
- In IEM, expand Internet Explorer Maintenance.
- In the left pane, click Browser User Interface, and then in the right pane, double-click Browser Title.
- Select the Customize Title Bars check box to provide custom text, and then in Title Bar Text, type the text that you want to display in the custom browser.
- The text will appear as: “Windows Internet Explorer provided by <your title bar text here>”.
