Batch jobs
Below error is displayed in joblog of Interactive job. Session stopped by a request from device QPADEV006W. Input or Output request failed. See message CPF5140. The job continues to run. Is there anyway to detect this error through a batch job. Once this error occurs we have to manually kill the interactive job.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You have a couple of options:

1. Change your setting for the system value QDEVRCYACN

2. Write program that will occasionally loop through your interactive subsystem looking for jobs with a status of “DSC”

Sounds like the issue may be the user is closing the interactive window and causing a disconnect. Because this is not a program error issue I do not think a MONMSG will work as it is not happening on an I/O function.
