A Server is a system where information is stored and analyse whenever user searches for information, server network provides the utility. Whereas host allows to provide their website on world wide web. DNS establish connection between host and server.

    Without context, both terms can have several meanings.  A server is not necessarily related to storing or searching information, and a host does not necessarily have something to do with web sites or the www.

    Yeah, I work with servers that mostly have nothing to do with web sites or www. Two (among many) examples are telnet servers and database servers. Either might be accessible through web activities, but in my case they're definitely isolated.

    It's too easy to search for definitions, and answers are much faster than waiting for replies in a forum. (Users of this forum are supposed to know that.)

    A google definition of server: a computer or computer program that manages access to a centralized resource or service in a network.

    For "host", it can be more complicated, especially since many servers are also 'hosts'. The WhatIs.com definition of "host" is fairly good.
