I am trying to increase the size of the output file in a CL used in the DSPJRN command. I need to set the OUTFILFMT to *TYPE5. My OUTFILE is being created in QTEMP  - so OUTPUT(*outfile) OUTFILE(QTEMP/DCSTAUDWK1) How can I do this?
DSPJRN JRN(&JOURNAL) FILE((DCSCIM) (DCSTCIMU) +
             (DCSCIU) (DCSTCIUU) (DCSTCIA) (DCSTCIAU) +
             (DPMTCIXREF) (DPMTCIXRFU) (DPMTVIREF) +
             (DPMTVIREFU) (DCST20) (DPMVNDR1) +
             (DPMTVNDR1U) (DPMVNDR5) (DPMTVNDR5U) +
             (DPMTVEDC) (DPMTVEDCU) (DCSDIM) +
             (DCSTDIMC) (DCSTDIMU) (DCSTDIMUU)) +
             RCVRNG(&BEGRCVR &ENDRCVR) +
             FROMENTLRG(&BEGRCVRSEQ) +
             TOENTLRG(&ENDRCVRSEQ) JRNCDE((R *ALLSLT)) +
             ENTTYP(*RCD) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) +
             OUTFILE(QTEMP/DCSTAUDWK1) ENTDTALEN(1100)

You should be able to end your DSPJRN command with something like this:
    output( *OUTFILE ) outfilfmt( *TYPE5 ) +
    outfile( QTEMP/DCSTAUDWK1 ) +
    entdtalen( *CALC )
If those parameter values don't work for what you need, post an explanation of the problems you find.

Make sure that the QTEMP/DCSTAUDWK1 file does not exist before you run the DSPJRN command.

If you are running multiple display journal commands on different files the size of QTEMP/DCSTAUDWK1 would be different for each .. and if it is the same job it will be the same QTEMP lib .. so in that case make sure to include a delete of the file between or before the Display command.
