As a first timer on this site I am hoping someone can help with a problem I have been trying to work out now for several days.
I have started using the SNP Hueristic to generate the Supply Plan in order to determine mid range capacity loadings. When I run the Heuristic I get Planned Orders generated as I would expect to satisfy the demand. However when I examine the capacity consumed by these planned orders in the Planning Book they are over consuming the capacity.
We are using PDS's downloaded from a SAP R/3 system via the CIF. The majority of the routes in R/3 have a base quantity of 10 units. The Planned Orders generated in the Heuristic seem to ignore the base quantity when calculating the capacity consumption. That is they generate 10 times the consumption that should occur.
Does anyone know what may be the cause of this problem.
