I want a pop up window to allow user to type a 110 char field. The window is 35 char wide so I want it to cover 4 lines. Is there a way without having 4 display fields and having to concatenate in the RPG?

Review the BLKFOLD (Blank Fold)CNTFLD (Continued-Entry Field) and WRDWRAP (Word Wrap) keywords. Hard to tell which one might fit in your case -- too many specifications are missing from the question.

Other keywords might help these work if your field is output-only but you're forced to declare it as a 'B'oth field.

What kind of device are you using with a 35 col display? There may be other alternatives than the one Raven mentioned like possibly a web based application or does this need to be in RPG?

sorry, create a 110 char input (or both) field and add the keyword CNTFLD(28) where 28 is the number of characters wide to make each line with the last line possibly shorter depending if it divides evenly or not.
