ERROR 500 (Internal Server Error) When Accessing 'IBM Web Administration for i5/OS' in HTTP ADMIN
I5/os V6R1m0
I tried to apply PTF recommended by IBM without success
Where do you see the error? What are you doing when you see the error? What does "without success" mean for any PTF? What was the PTF? Was there an error when you tried to apply it? Much more info is needed. -- Tom
the error occurs when opening th IE browser.
recomended PTF by IBM is group 99115
I had difficulties to install it. Applying this ptf does not succeed.
ptf si4907 is missing
"ptf si4907 is missing"
Please verify the PTF. I believe that number is a typo because no such PTF exists. It is likely that the PTF is an older one that must be applied first.

PTF SI49057 is included in the latest SF99115 group package. Run this command:
.
== > DSPPTF 5761SS1 SI49057
.
What is the result? Did you load the PTF package?
.
Tom
My last comment was (probably mistakenly) checked as an "Answer". But it was only requesting some clarification. PTF SI49057 is part of the current SF99115 group PTF package, so the way that the package is currently stored will help us know how SI49057 might be accessed. -- Tom
Hmmm. We don't have SI49057 loaded yet have no trouble accessing the HTTP Server Administration.
Have you started the MGTC server (STRTCPSVR SERVER(*MGTC))? I seem to remember having some trouble with that many moons ago.
Perhaps HTTP *ADMIN server has stopped even though it was started during IPL. That happens on our IBM i running 6.1. The server stops about a week after the IPL.
Thanks a lot to all who answered and tried to help me.
We found the reason why it was not possible to start admin.
Whenrestoring libraries and IFS, we unfortunately restored files concerning the IBM software.
