We currently have a CSV file that we would like to import into an Oracle table. After it's loaded in, we're going to use the table for another use. Can this be done using SQLPLUS? Thank you very much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

That would be pretty easy using SQL Developer.  It has a visual import utility which guides you in the import process.

SQL Plus cannot directly do what you want, but you can call SQL*Loader, from SQL plus.  SQL*Loader needs a control file, in which you define how the import should be done, and what the source file is, but it is not too difficult either.
