Ifs stream files unusual characters are present when user views files.

I am creating new stream ifs files for a project in .TXT format. When a user views the files through navigator and notepad all of the data appears in hroyglifics or other strange characters what can I do to prevent this? Is there a parm in CPYTOIMPF command perhaps?

We found our solution by  changing the parm STMFCCSID TO *PCASCII

    Glad you found your solution. In cases like your, when you see "garbage" data it usually point to some sort of data conversion. Check to make sure you are using the right character set and expand out from there. Another thing may be on the data transfer you need to check the Convert CCSID  65535.
