To find the exact location of a macro in Microsoft Excel, use a lookup formula with the FALSE argument. This search function will only return results with an exact match. The result will take you to the cell where the macro is found. Use the =VLOOKUP(A8,A2: C5,2,FALSE) command but input the columns of your choice. If you just want to know that the macro exists somewhere in the spreadsheet but you don’t need to know where, use the =IF(ISNA(MATCH(A8,A2:A5,0)),”Not Found”,MATCH(A8,A2: A5,0)), where you input the columns and cells of your choice.
