Hi, I have recently installed the HP integrated ESX3i. The install created datastores unlike the server version. The problem with this is that it creates a 1mb block size by default, thus limiting the size of your vmdk file in that datastore to 256mb, for file and print servers this is not feesable. Is it a question of creating a new datastore, moving the files over to the new datastore and then delete and recreate a new one with a bigger block size and then copy the old files back again, time consuming but I think the only way around this problem.
Thanks for any input
