Hi! Can someone help me on how I can use Windows command prompt (CMD) to call a Java program which is basically a '.jar' file that's stored on the IFS, lets say "192.168.0.8javajavaPgm.jar" is the location of the Java PGM in the IFS. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Something like this should do it:

java -jar \\192.168.0.8\java\javaPgm.jar

For this to work, the JRE must be installed on the machine where this is going to be run, and the PATH environment variable must be correctly set so that you can call java from any location.

Also, access privileges must be correct on the remote system, to allow the local user access to the file.
