I'm using Oracle and I'm wondering what are the appropriate data types for representing network addresses (particularly in IPv4 and IPv6). Here's a little more information. I'm converting a table that's recording network activity, which was built by PostgreSQL "inet data type" to hold both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in the same table. Thank you very much!
