I had Linux installed on a removable hard disk. But I don't use Linux anymore so I want to add Windows 10 to it. How can I completely remove it from the hard disk? Thanks so much.

This is removable HDD. so risk is low. However it is a good practice to take all necessary backups from the HDD and then go for erase. Generally a full format can erase the data/OS completely from any HDD while the disk is with you. For more secured, you can use shred command, but Linux system is necessary to run this command.

There shouldn't be a need to remove Linux. Just install Win 10 after formatting the drive.
