My partner and I have Windows 8 Pro on our work machine. We need to have a Windows 7 VM running under Hyper-V and the VM needs complete Internet access. Our work machine uses a wireless network adapter that we use to connect to our router. We've done everything needed but when we log into the VM, the network is there but it's unidentified / no Internet access. What should we do here?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Create a external virtual switch in Hyper-v, a virtual NIC will be created in the host, then check the IP of the host assigned to virtual NIC with ipconfig/all, then assign this Virtual Switch to the VM and configure the VM with same network IP of Virtual NIC and disable firewall in all profiles in the VM and ping host to VM and vice versa. If both are pinging then internet should work.
