How did you know that, What symptoms are there. Details are required with model/ manufacturer. However you can change all passwords with complex one.

What make and model phone ? Are you using any security products on it currently, if so what? It might just be that it is configured wrong.

How is that person hacking it?

You need to provide more details. We can't suggest how to stop something if we don't know that that something is exactly.

What makes you think you got hacked? Most of the smart phone problems arise due to questionable apps. When downloading an app, look at what permissions it is asking for. Do not just accept so you can use it. Some want access to everything in your phone, address book, pictures, music, PayPal and more.. Just to play a game??? It's not worth the risk of downloading it... move on to another app..

Lots of hacked phone questions recently.

Mobile security has to be a critical topic for everyone these days.

Most of the times everything starts due to the ignorance of people in the security area.

Sounds like a key logger that recorded the new password information. You best bet is to log into any accounts you can from a secure PC/device and change them there. Then run an antivirus app to clean the infected devce before you log into anything else.

@ShannonRichards100, If you thought this is happening frequently, first of all take all necessary backups (like contacts/notes/pictures/videos etc.) and then do a reset (hard/ soft) and change password with more complex one. Now see if that happens again.

One main cause of breaches and hacks are questionable apps asking for all kinds of permissions they don't need and opening infected e-mail on the device. Just be more cautious.
