I have Chinese Tablet (unknown brand). I want to install Android in it. When I plug tablet via USB, it detects but doesn't install. It requires driver. Please help. How can I find out the manufacturer?
Read what's printed on the tablet or embossed on any attached labels. Or start it up and read any settings. A manufacturer can be determined from any number of things found anywhere on the device. -- Tom
Go to device manager, there is a yellow symbol, that means the driver could not recognize by windows. Now right click on this symbol, click properties, and click details section or tab and click to select hardware ids under property. There are several list or one, just pick the value or id name, and search on the net. It will provide you driver software.
Contact the vendor you purchased it from. Knock offs may be anything. Some may not even work. I have had that issue with some MP# players from China. Why do you want to install the Android OS? What OS did it come with?
