For some computer purposes alphanumeric characters are strictly limited to the 26 alphabetic characters and 10 numerals; however, for other usages, such as programming, other keyboard symbols are sometimes permitted. In some usages, the alphanumeric character set may include both upper and lower case letters, punctuation marks, and symbols (such as @, &, and *, for example). For languages other than English, alphanumeric characters include letter variations such as é and ç.

    Are we missing some information?

    Your name in Alphanumeric is: PrincessJhennylove

    But are you supposed to write a program to get the user name? In what language? What have you done? What do you think you should do?

    Linux and Windows both have a 'Character' accessory. You could start scrolling through it to locate characters that are appropriate. When you find the right group, copy/paste the needed characters.

    You might do the same for a comment here so we can see what your problem actually is. (Everything you've typed here so far has been "alphanumeric", so it looks like you can already do it.)

    @daddydubc: you just did. for the most part it's limited to the 26 alphabetic characters and 10 numerals. There are a few other rare cases where special char may be acceptable.

    It depends on the source/interface where did you want to enter alphanumeric characters. If is a software/custom made, then there must be a help/instructions for making entries. You can follow this user manual/help. Or even you can link there website to know more. If the software that is basically a filed, allows to enter letters + digits, then you can put else it shows error message.

    It should be noted that there are many more than 28 alphabetic and 10 numeric characters. The numbers of each can depend on the language being used (and presumably the software).

    @TheRealRaven: True, The Hawaiian alphabet contains 12 letters: 5 vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and 7 consonants (h, k, l, m, n, p, w).
    So there Alphanumeric would be different. So for the most part it's going to be based on the langauge and/or application. If
    the OP still has problems we would need those 2 factors to determine the correct alphanumeric characters.
