Hi! I'm working on a Windows 10 PC and I have to clean out some disk space ASAP. I'm using the cleanup tool to make some space. So I'm trying to delete this 'temporary internet data' but it won't happen. The size is more than 5 / 6 GB which would help a ton! How can I delete this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You can try to re-boot and do the clean up in safe mode. I find it hard to believe it’s all temp data though. Check you internet settings, you may want to purge them every time you close the browser. This way you wont have to worry going forward.

Open IE.
Click on the gear icon > Internet Options
Go to the Advanced Tab.
Scroll to the Security section.
Tick the Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed checkbox and click apply.

There may be similar setting depending on what browser you are using.IF you need info on another browser let us know.

It depends on what temporary data you're referring to and what problems you ran into when trying to delete it. Please describe what you tried and the problems that resulted.
