Will that depend on Business Strategy? What if we want to explore both channels, what is the timing then?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It will definitely depend on business strategy which drives product strategy, which will define where your users are, which channels are better to reach them first, whether your users are dwelling on other platforms etc.

It depends on your current demands and also on business policy that leads on your business in future. But nowadays to survive in this most competitive market, perhaps both are helpful to flourish business. Specially mobile app, which is too helpful to make your business/products to common people. Today, almost all people have mobile/smartphone. People can surf internet when they want more specific information while apps help to connect the product very quickly. But all are depend on your budget/cost, of course the plan/strategy which you will decide, must be cost effective.

I think whatever business you are into, go for both. Though there are businesses like Uber, Ola, etc that decide to stay only on mobile ecosystem.

Also take a look at your target audience. Will they be mobile a majority of the time or in an office setting when accessing the app?

It's also depends on the roadmap, and it's important to devise a product roadmap that focuses on different channels based on the traction, types of users we have, what they want to achieve etc.

A good example would be something like the Uber / Lyft apps.. They will serve you much better from a mobile stand point than a desktop solution.
