How to clear Outlook’s Exchange cache address book

I've noticed that when we add a new email address to our company's Exchange Server, it doesn't show up immediately on my Outlook. We think that it's due to cached mode. When we disabled it and restarted Outlook, we can see the new email address fine. But when we restore cached mode and restart Outlook, it's no longer there. If there a way to force Outlook to clear its address book cache? Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Of-course you can force Outlook to clear the cache but the issue is not related with your Outlook, you need to configure few settings in Exchange Server to fix it.

    Hi..

You can use these simple steps to clear your Outlook Address Book cache...
      1. Open Outlook & Select File
      2. Then, go to Account Settings
      3. Select Data Files & Open File Location
      4. Select Offline Address Books
      5. Thereafter, Exit Outlook by selecting File and then Exit
      6. Highlight the folders within Offline Address Books Folders & Delete them.
      7. Open Outlook again
    Hope this will work.
