I started my career in business solutions implementing Sage Accpac 7 years ago. Throughout this period I have been involved in many implementaions in my home country and many other overseas countries. Most of these projects involved integration with legacy systems and customisations, for which I closely worked with software development teams by guiding them on the processes. However I am not into software engineering.
At the moment I am managing a 10 member team of Implementers/Consultants. Further on the professional track I posess an MBA (UK) and CIMA. I am now very keen on moving into SAP and unsure of the best pathway.
Given my background my assessment is to take on the FICO and if possible, the CRM areas of SAP. Given the lack of opportunities in Sri Lanka (where I currently reside), I am cluless as to where I should go for to obtain SAP Training and Certification and get into my first implementation.
I am hopeful that my peers would give me the best advice and guidance
