We currently have a Windows Service that's running on Windows Server 2003. It's been opening a source Word document using the Word Interop (and does other things). It's the same way with Excel and PowerPoint. But we've recently moved to Windows Server 2008 and we're having a ton of problems with it. I keep getting this exception when it's running on 2008:
COMException at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Workbooks.Open COMException at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Documents.Open
After looking at the Task Manager, the application is loading fine but closes right after. Anyone have an idea what we should do here?
