Our department has roughly 200 MB for our /boot partition. But when we try to update Kernel, we keep getting this error message saying the /boot is full. How do we clean this up? Also, should we back up the older kernels too?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

In any windows or linux OS For boot partitions there must be unallocated disk space on your hard disk, you can create a maximum of three primary partitions on a hard disk. Another way to use the recovery partition is from the F8 boot menu.
