How many rows are too much in a MySQL database?

We have a MySQL InnoDB that has over a million records. Is that too much to hold? Can my database handle that many records? We're curious because some of our queries are slower with a table that has 1,000,000 rows than one with 100 rows.

Hi,

It depends
on the hardware, but as per my experience MySQL scales pretty well. I am not
worried too much about its table size because if it becomes an issue, then use partitioning
to resolve it.
