I still see a lot of companies with no social media strategy and limited controls around acceptable computer usage. I’m sure the average HR manager or business executive would be dismayed by how much “goofing off” on the job is taking place.
Social media strategy is one thing; acceptable usage quite another. I do know that when you’re trying to run a business you need to keep things in check through a reasonable employee monitoring program. It’s the only way you can minimize your business risks in this area.
