    Thousands of possible answers...

Without more info, we would only be guessing.

I have to agree with carlosdl. I need more info. There are any number of good 3rd party cache cleaners available though. I use CCleaner from Piriform, but Symantec has one, and so does Microsoft. The Microsoft one can be found under Search and Cleanup in Windows 8.1. In Windows 7 it is found under Accessories, System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup. Be very careful when using these is utilities as you can damage apps with them.

As Carl said - there are many potential answers, you need to be specific in your request so that we know what cache you are attempting to clear. You have possible answers here for two different internet browsers (didn't even get instructions for IE) as well as Windows and Network possibilities. The only 3rd party tool I ever use is CCleaner from Piriform that bhannah mentions - more information could be helpful in supplying you with the best answer possible.

Easiest way is to reboot, but I assume you want to remain on the PC and continue to work. Why do you think you need to clear the cache? If you check the task manager, how much of the memory is being used? How much is left?
