Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Another possibility would be to attend computer shows / conferences and pitch your idea to some of the vendors. But protect your intellectual rights first. You may want to contact a lawyer for advice.

What I understand is that you have developed an app or have an idea that is unique and important. And you are seeking buyers in this regard. There are various ways of doing it. Firstly, there are many platforms where you can share your idea and seek stakeholders to invest. But ensure that you share only to an extent that someone else doesn't get a complete idea and does it faster than you. Secondly, develop it, launch it, and then it is that powerful, you will start getting offers for the same.

First off if you just have an idea you need to be careful someone else does not produce it. Depending on where you live, I would look into copyright laws, trademarking the app name. If you do not have a working prototype, it may be hard to convince other to invest in just an idea. As for the fact it may be one of the most used apps, I can't think of anything I would need or use that bad and I have been in the IT field for over 35 years and still do not use a smart phone..I develop apps for other people. I just don't see the point in it. Most of the apps out there I have little to no use for and my life is just fine.

In general, sales professionals know that they need to climb up the client’s organization chart to make sure they are selling to the ultimate decision makers. In a complex sales scenario, however, it’s not always clear who those people may be. But yes, as of today's scenario, an app must help to find out buyers.
