Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If it does not load automatically, open windows explorer and navigate to your cd/dvd drive. Open the folder and look for a autorun.bat or install.exe and click it. Just follow the manual that came with the game. There could be an issue if it’s the wrong disc type, could be for a different O/S or even for a different system type 32 bit vs 64 bit. Provide the specs for a more accurate answer.

That depends on how the CD is set up and on what you want to "download" the game to. Until we know everything needed about both, we can't tell. There might be protections on the CD, or there might be incompatibilities of platform, OS version or other.

Depends it it a CD or a DVD? Some games that are extremely large come on DVD now. If autorun is set for optical media drive, just put the disc in and follow the prompts. Some games will still require the disc to be in the drive in order to play them. A pain, but I understand why. They want to make sure you do not install the game on more that one computer.

In general insert your cd in cd/dvd drive and copy the setup file to hdd and run the setup to play games. Though, some cd/dvd has write protected/ copyright protected, then it do not allow to copy the same. You can play game until you insert the cd/dvd. Firstr you have to check in which category your cd falls. Or disclose more info.

As said it depends on the disk which you have some have direct setup which might run just copy all files to hdd and run or can also run with disk itself. And also some have to run with disk only so it always depends on the type of disk.

Might be the cd is damaged/ not in readable condition. Check the cd in another laptop/ desktop, if possible.
