I've recently realized that there is no concept of AUTO_INCREMENT on Oracle. Would I be able to use "SYS_GUID()" to create an auto increment? Thanks so much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Don’t know all the ins and outs of AUTO_INCREMENT but for Oracle SEQUENCE is the nearest thing that comes to mind. You can get the CURRVAL or NEXTVAL when handling records.
