Omegle
I was on Omegle as a joke and someone asked my name. I gave my first name he then asked what state and I said it, he then asked if I lived in a certain town. I do live in said town. He has no other info on me I ended the convo quickly. The only only thing that really concerns me is that I wasn’t in the town he stated. How is this possible?

Your question is not clear. You said you provided him State/ Town name, so then he got the names from you only. So then what? Is he annoying you? Is there any problem? Please provide more details.

Without more detail, it's not possible to guess how it was done. It's possible to detect the IP address of someone sending to you through Omegle, and it's possible to associate an IP address with a city. The city might not be the one that the sender is in.

For most users, addresses are tied to particular kinds of equipment. If your ISP has the right equipment in the town that you live in, then that can be the town that gets associated with the address even if you're in a nearby town.

My home IP address gets associated with a town quite a few miles from my home town. Without more details, that's about all that can be said with any certainty.

It may be possible like Raven mentioned by using your IP address. The issue is most use a dynamic IP assigned by their ISP. This might be where he got some info.  Try looking up your IP address on this site and see what information it provides. WHOIS.  He  would have to be looking to do this using special code and possibly a secondary computer. It does not take much personal info today to get a lot more on a person. This is due to everything we post on social media.  If you were on a site that was designed to let  you chat anonymously, why give your name.
