Be sure and set your folder options to view hidden files and folders. The path mentioned in the answer above contains hidden folders.

You can directly export PST file in your local system manually for backup, or you can also use third party tool to export/backup pst file.

To take backup for Outlook PST files you can use some manual steps. Open your Outlook and follow these steps one by one:
    • Click ‘backup’ on available on File menu
    • Select the PST files for which backup is required by clicking trough ‘Options’
    • Configure Personal Folders Backup add-in to MS Outlook. This is a onetime effort and you will not have to repeat it again and again.
    • Once the add-in is installed, restart Outlook.
    • Click on back up using add-in tab.
    • From the ‘Options’ select preferred PST file you want to create a back up for.
