I am the VDI admin, and my team is doing patching monthly to every single desktop manually, there are approx five hundred parent virtual machine in our environment. and It takes too much time to deploy these patches and security updates.
Please guide if there is any best option to do patching.
Thanks in advance.

What type of VDI environment is there? Is it Virtual Box/VMware Workstation or other or even mixed? However mentioned as Microsoft, please link here for more concepts: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/rds-vdi-recommendations

First of all. Thank you for your reply

We are using VMware Horizon View 6 and 7 both, Horizon View 6 with window 7 and Horizon View 7 with Window 10. Our clients are using this virtual machine through VMware Horizon Client application.

Your document is regarding VDI configuration, we already know about this. I want some ideas regarding rolling up the monthly patches and security updates effectively to the number of Virtual Desktops with less time.

We are thinking to try Ivanti Patches, but i am not sure it will work or not.

Currently we are doing this manually and it is taking a lot of time.
