How can I delete LF in the database that is currently active? Is it possible?

I wanted to delete a library on AS/400. It failed due to object dependencies.can I delete logical file that is depending on object located in a currently used physical file.

Yes, you can delete LF that is in a different library than the PF, and then delete the library. All dependencies must be delete. An Object Lock can stop the deleting of individual objects. If you can an error referencing that, you need to end the job that is locking your object.

    Only impact is if you call a program that is trying to use the file.

    before i delete BPINLN in mvxtest. am i right? really this thing is taking too much of my time. i need to clear my asp. there are 2 libraries that i cannot delete due to the dependencies. my asp now 85%. what are other things to delete to clear the ASP. pls advise.
