Hide connection/query settings in Excel

I have created some Excel spreadsheets that use an external connection and MS query to download data into the SS. (No VBA involved). I would like to hide the query and connection information from users, or make it inaccessible. I want to avoid users making changes to the connection and/or query that would result it me trying to figure out what was changed when it does not work as it should. Can this be done? How?
