Help ;-; ! Printer problems!

printer epson

Hello! So I just received a new printer, epson XP-225. I was trying to install it on my computer with the dvd. I was able to connect the printer to the WBS smoothly without any problems whatsoever. But when I go for the next step in the setup it tells me that the product couldn't be found or that it wasn't possible to connect the product to the network! So I tried connecting it throught the USB, has it was adviced by the setup, but the result ended up being exactly the same the product couldn't be found or that it wasn't possible to connect the product to the network! I tried various solutions, even trying to temporarily shutting down my firewall to see if that could in anyway be influencing the installation, to no results. I tried using an online setup, because the dvd might have been faulty, but the results were the same. I even tried a different EPSON package software, but it only connect my printer to an email and printed a paper telling me so.

I hope someone could help me! As I've been trying to get a printer for such a long time because it's a dire need in my home. (Sorry if I made any mistakes, english isn't my first language) And thank you!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

here is the EPSON troubleshooting page to get it set up via wi-fi.

If the product still doesn’t connect to your wireless network, the WEP key or WPA passphrase may have been entered incorrectly. Verify that the product is turned on and connected to your network. If your connection is wireless, the WiFi light should be on. … Make sure you set up your software properly for network printing.
