Help Preventing Split Screen in Google Hangouts

We've been using google hangouts for a few weeks now for video conferencing with a colleague who lives on the east coast. Every time we video her, she sees two screens, which are different angles of our conference room on the west coast. The camera we are using never had this issue before and it's just a webcam that you plug into a USB port. How do we prevent this split screen so she just sees one screen of the group? Is it something on her end?

Thanks!

What bothers me is the camera is showing a different angle. Is there a second camera in the room perhaps connecting to wi-fi? Sound unlikely that one forward facing camera can provide multiple viewing angles.

Please check whether she uses Wirecast or something like an app by mistake.

It seems likely that a laptop (or other participating system) is also broadcasting video. It should be trivial to hold up a finger and walk it into the unexpected view to locate a second camera.
