I have an Acer Chromebook 14, and whenever I try to open my camera, it says "Your camera is currently unavailable. Please check if the camera is properly connected". How do I resolve this issue?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If your camera isn’t working, or if you see a message that says “No camera found”:

  1. Turn off your Chromebook, then turn it back on.
  2. Try using the camera in another app, like Hangouts. If it works in that app, uninstall the app where it doesn’t work, then reinstall it.
  3. Reset your Chromebook.
  4. Recover your Chromebook.

If you’re still having trouble after trying these steps, contact your Chromebook manufacturer.

What is the Chrome OS version? Open a browser, & type as, chrome://help. It shows the version. Provide here this version. Also Have you uninstalled/ reinstalled the camera if possible.
