Whenever I dock my Windows 7 laptop, I always connect through a wired Ethernet connection over Wi-Fi. But how can I make it ignore the Wi-Fi when Ethernet is available? Thank you.

Hi,

You can do this by following the below steps:

  • Click Start and, in the search field, type View Network Connections.
  • Press the ALT key, click Advanced Options and then click on Advanced Settings.
  • Select the Wireless Connection and move up for top priority.

I hope this will help you to resolve your issues.

Thanks & Regards
