Please explain what a "wsv formatted drive" is. I have never heard of one and general internet searches turn up no hits. If you can explain what it is, it might save some time. -- Tom
from what i found about wsv it is WebSynth Media File ( Sonicle ). Not really sure what happen to your laptop, but if your laptop have already crash, yes you can just format it with NTFS
If it is about WebSynth Media File, then the drive might already be NTFS. Before formatting anything, the situation should be made clear. For example, instead of "formatting", perhaps the file system should be "converted". Conversion results in the new format, but it retains all data. -- Tom
