I'm looking to buy an external hard drive to use for my gaming console. I keep seeing "no memory capacity", what does that mean?, is it an actual hard drive?

I keep seeing "no memory capacity"

Seeing it where? When doing what?

is it an actual hard drive?

Is what an actual hard drive? What are you working with?

Enough information needs to be added for us to know what you're asking about.

Where did you see this message? Computer memory and hard drive or HDD both are different. Generally computer memory refers to RAM. Check RAM capacity of your system like 1GB/2GB/4GB or like that. If there is very little space on the HDD then, there should be space problems or not enough disk space.

What type of gaming console, X-BOX, PS4 or another one? What are its current specs? We need more details to provide an answer.

Both of them are different, it is good to have more memory in order to have heavy gaming experience.
