Cannot see Windows 7 partitions

When I install Windows 7, I create 3 partitions and open Windows 2 partitions are all I see. And my 40 GB partition couldn't see. Why? Please answer me.

Did you format the partition? Windows Explorer will not see a partition until it is formatted, and Windows will not allocate a drive letter for it.

    What tool/app did you use to create the partitions? What size did you make them? Was this done on a disk that had a lot of data?

    Is it fresh install? Or is there was Vista in earlier stage. Or can you see everything in the disk management console? Right click computer & then click manage, then select disk management. This will show all the drives and partitions ()visible/ invisible/hidden). What you can do go to security setting & changed the owner.
